Harmony among Civilization

Reason to be here:

To come Indonesia is for me Like a challenge.Challenge is means to adopt culture, food, environment, weather, religion etc.
I was crazy to be here. And finally I choose tourism to promote Indonesia to all over the world. I left my home since 14 years and have been living in south east Asia .Because of my various activities. So, according to my point of view Indonesia is better country to choose for travel and stay.
•PeoplePeople
•Food od
•Environment nvironment
•Cultureeligion
•Religionulture
People of Indonesia:
More friendly ,smiling always,Helping mind. For example I would like to find my address I observe at least 5 people willing to help me with their beautiful smile.I really feel amazed by myself. How innocent people are here!
Food of Indonesia:
I should thanks to Sahid that they give us chance to study culinary so I have known many kind of food and I can cook also. Indonesian food are totally delicious! I like to eat Gado Gado Jakarta,Pepes tahu,Pempek etc.
Environment of Indonesia:
Still in Indonesia, environment is suitable and secure for foreign students. According to my experience wherever I have visit the environment of Indonesia is secure unless if you are good as yourself and for others people.
Culture of Indonesia:
Indonesian culture is the mixing culture with all over culture. They have huge variety of culture which is attract people from all over the world.
 Religion of Indonesia:
I am so glad that after came here in Indonesia I had chance to study Islamism. The best things I have study in my life. This is “Islam”.I am from one of the 4th largest Muslim country (Bangladesh)but I never had chance to study Al-Quran which is miracle for me.I should thanks my Indonesian friend who give me chance to know Islam.
Woman in Indonesia:

I have observe that all woman  are starting  their  work since early morning. I had chance to go pasar I saw all in all is woman. And sometimes I take bus and I saw the bus conductor is women. This is for me amazing that Muslim woman are not only inside in home. One day I take Trans Jakarta I saw Trans Jakarta driver is Women.Hats Off Indonesian Wanita.I respect you all.May Allah give you all strength.
Indonesian Women are charming, hard worker, smart, bold and beautiful, religious.
Life in Jakarta:
Life in Jakarta is stuck with Traffic Jam.So its like a ups and down. But I have suggestion for all of my Indoensian friends That Traffic Jam(Macet Time) is good for meditation. So no more hazel in life.

“Dream” never and ever give up!

My early days were very hard and full of struggle. But I was so determined and enthusiastic that later – on as years passed the journey became a mission. From my school days and until now I am fighting with hardships. But I did not escape from life because I was patient and had the blessings of my parents. When I was in college I began to teach the children from the neighborhood. And later – on when I was doing my Bachelor degree in commerce I worked with a NGO “World Vision’. I never forget the support I got from the   program manager. He appointed me as a pre – school teacher .I did volunteer work with a little pocket money but this money helped me a lot. During study and work I joined the Lay Buddhist organization “RISSHO KOSEI KAI”. I served there as a volunteer once a week. In the year 2002 they selected 5 youths to attend a conference in Thailand .I was one among the five. I could not believe myself .At that time I realized that if we are one pointed in our work we shall surely succeed. It was my first visit out of my country and all expenses were met by the organization.  One day I got information that there is a Myanmar government scholarship for studies in Buddhism and especially in our country for people who wish to become a monk. The scholarship was not for women. But I always thought that I should do something special. I contacted the education officer in Myanmar Embassy in Dhaka. I inspired him with my approach and he was kind enough to understand. He told, of course I could study Buddhism. Buddhism is for all. And I had to appear for written and oral exams only next week. I had no time. I was the first girl from Bangladesh Buddhist society who got this prestigious scholarship. I was excited because it was my first visit to a foreign country for 3 years. From 2004 to 2007 I was in Myanmar. My study duration was 3 years and for an another year I did missionary work in many orphanages and old age homes as volunteer .They provided for my food and lodging.  I was so happy for that because my intention was not to get money but to understand a new culture and get lots of experience.  Returning to Bangladesh I worked with a local NGO “NOWZUWAN”. I have learnt from them how to be sincere in work. It was my first fulltime job with a salary. I worked there for a year. I had applied for a one year non-degree course in Indonesia. But I needed airfare .I was struggling and wanted to cancel the opportunity. But one fine day a friend called me and asked if I could work with the refugees in Myanmar and Bangladesh border. I got a job there and earned money to come to Indonesia. But I soon realized that I should do post graduation to be better equipped to serve the society. I found on the internet that the Rai Foundation in India was giving scholarships to gifted girls to do MBA in India. I applied for it and won the scholarship to help of founder of Nirvanavan Foundation baba Nirvana. He recommend  me to get admission .I have got my MBA from NIILM University,Haryana,India on 2012.And at present I am doing special course about tourism and culinary Indonesia.I am enjoying life in Indonesia.
What you have “Dream” in your mind never ever give up!Success will must come!

Love in Cileuksa

GNI Gugah Nurani Indonesia (Good Neighbors Indoensia), is for me to start work in Indonesia with full of spirit.

Once I met with Mas Soza,I have share with him that I want to work with GNI as a volunteer. Actually during my study in Indonesia I was looking for NGO to work at least as a volunteer.Mas Soza did a good job. It was November 2nd week Soza took me one meeting which is organized by GNI, BOGOR.I have met with Mas Pramesa and gave him My Resume.
Mas Pramesa had discussed and later decided the Country Director of GNI wanted to meet with me. It was totally funny for me. Because the first question from Country Director is “Are you single? Can you speak 7 languages? Briliant!”Ha Ha Ha.Anyway I have got permission to do my internship with GNI.Honestley speaking I was so excited. I came on 26th of November 2012 to Kampung Kompa.Nextday Mas Soza took me to Cilueksa. I fall in love with nature of Cilueksa .I feel I should be here for few days. The Bold and Beautiful Cileuksa. The weather and the atmosphere is really awesome. The first meeting with  Mas Antok(who is totally grass roots social worker). For the first time I saw he made change CRC Bogor. When I first came I noticed The CRC library was not organized .Mas Antok made it perfect. I believe everywhere in this world some angles appeared like a human being who knows Mas Antok is one of them.

                                Angles of Heaven
My first interact with Cileuksa children:-
I just wonder how beautiful children in the world they were born .Every children in Cileuksa is looking innocent and beautiful. They like the Indian culture almost everyone know about Indian film. When I have visited Cileuksa river with them I just feel I came here once in my past life. The children are very delightful. I wish they will grow up properly.
                                   Story of Trekking
From Cileuksa to go Ciparempeng with motor bike it is kind of punishment of ownself. And unfortunately I had that experience. I just got surprised how those villagers survive into their entire life with this crazy transportation. I gave up riding bike started to trekking.

                          Nowhere in the world
Ciparempeng is the village where huge people with no hope. I don’t feel any imagination actually how they live their life in Ciperempeng. I have visited the one and only school which school is empty without teacher. Only one teacher is used to teach the children who came to stay there from Yogyakarta. According to my experience I have travelled 500 villages but truly speaking I never met like this beautiful children. But besides I am so sad How will be their future without education! I can believe they can be doctor, engineer….etc.But who will make them?
                             School in Cijairin
I was so curious to do trekking Ciparempeng  to Cijairin. I followed with Ibu Umi.It was so mud on the way. But I crossed the mud road . It was lovely wherever to walk. I was so concentrate with my every footsteps. It is the amazing things I have done.
I liked to walk !Village to village. The Sunda people specially the ladies are so beautiful and charming. But I don’t know why they don’t study. Feel piti.Only because of study I did many struggle but they are not keen to study at all. Once I have heard from Mas Soza  that GNI is going to make school in Cijairin. The great decision .The children in Cijairin they need education.Need school to learn “meaning of life”because education is the backbone of nation.
                         Art of Knowledge
I gain more knowledge during my Internship.
-        How to behave with people
-        How to adjust with culture
Frankly speaking sometimes I feel so stress with people when they start to make question continuously.

The taste of life (My Social  journey)

Everywhere in the world good and bad happened .But as a human being we should adopt the good one. So my social journey will never be stopped because it is taste of my life.
Special thanks to Mas Soza ( who introduce with me to GNI and very kind of me)
Special thanks to Mas Antok (who show me the way of culture)
And all volunteer and People of Cilueksa

Allah Hafiz!
