Old clothes and woollen blankets are distributed every year from 25th December to 14th January to the children of the Bodhivriksha schools and to elderly people who are not looked after by their kin. A survey is done by the volunteers of the Nirvanavan Foundation to identify old people who are in need of love and warmth. A small group of women in Delhi collect old clothes and woolen blankets to be distributed to the needy through the foundation.
